What are the problems new JEE Test will face

A new pattern of JEE exam is finally to take off from 2013. School teachers have been appreciating it; not so the IIT board; students feel cheated; parents seem confused & well the coaching institutes are still making big money. This new pattern is sure to face bigger problems. We discuss some of the bigger problems.

 gloomy state for 2013 Aspirant's ...

The new JEE pattern on its first look was to get the aspirant's rid of the so-called "ratta maro coaching" institutes. However with strong opposition from almost everyone (who were right at their parts) brought the JEE to its present scenario where candidates need to do well in board exams to be in top 20%, qualify in JEE-MAIN (first test) & do incredibly great in JEE-ADVANCED(second test) to enter the prestigious IITs. One doesn't need to argue much that this pattern will provide added pressure & added burden for student's shoulders.
How come one now say it was to provide students relief of the cut-throat business. On the contrary the new JEE pattern was introduced to remove the coaching centers out of the scene. This dogmatism imposed by HRD has now hit the surface on its face. Coaching institutes are doing good & flourishing. A candidate would now be going for tuitions for boards & jee tests.
Moreover, the most suffered ones would be 2013 aspirants who are so very confused of what next. How better it would've been if the new pattern was implemented only when everyone agreed & a clear draft was posted for the exam & till then the older system was in place. But now we see everyone's going their own way with many IIT's threatening to hold their own exam. Add to it the very less time available to a candidate now. Things look gloomy & whatever happens for the new JEE pattern, students of 2013 batch are sure to suffer.

board exam problems...
The new JEE pattern also includes the clause to include students in the top 20% of their respective boards. This is a better move of the previously 80% or above percentage in board exams. But deeper thinking would tell even the new move may prove devastating. Can't one see being in top 20% of CBSE board will be hell lot of trouble for students. Today we are living in a phase where one can get even 98% by pure mugging. 98-99.5% is not a rare thing now.
Wouldn't it be troublesome for someone who can easily crack the Jee advanced but manages a 80-85% & is bereft of appearing in JEE advanced. This would be pure cheating because even 80% is decent. Surely most state board appering will be at ease .
Another thing which bothers us is most board exam results are scheduled in late june to july .
Then there is provision for rechecking which atleast takes 2 weeks of processing. In such a scenario JEE Advanced may be delayed to late summers. This may possibly affect the whole teaching system of IIT's as well as NIT's & IIIT's. The positive thing we hear is that 20 state boards have confirmed that they will publish results on or before 10th june & rechecking procedure to complete before 30th june. But considering all odds implementation will not be a piece of cake.

the problem is actually political.this is so damn shameful. why should we suffer. why 2013 people suffer the most? why? it should be better off postponing it to 2014 when everyone is firm on iseet.
